Which Model BPR40 Do I Have?
It can easily get confusing when looking at the different models of radios online or elsewhere. Comparing the different frequencies and features in order to find your radio is not the way to do it. In order to be 100% accurate on the identity of your radio model, remove the battery from your radio and look inside on the radio unit itself. On the metallic surface inside the back of your BPR40 you will find a label with a "Model:" number. Use this Model Number, type it into the search blank at the top of the www.TwoWayDirect.com web page, and you can find the same version BPR40 that you currently have.
The Mag One by Motorola BPR40 UHF radio is affordable and a great communications tool for many different types of businesses including educational, industrial, and retail businesses. Problem with Battery Latch Breaking
We were using about 30 of these in our warehouse. The battery latches kept breaking left and right. Nick at Two Way Direct recommended the VX231 radios which are compatible. We switched and are glad we did. We even get better coverage and it comes with a better warranty (3 years). Thanks for the heads up Nick!
