Posted by Two Way Direct on 15th Nov 2022

As a customer, it is not always easy to fully grasp the difference between two-way radio options unless they are right in front of you. That is why Two Way Direct has created "True-to-Size" visuals in order for our customers to be able to better compare the physical differences along with the technical variance between products.

Today, we will be focusing on the Motorola RMU and CP100D models.

MOTOROLA RMU2040

The Motorola RMU2040 is a basic analog two-way radio, which has been a very popular and cost-effective option among many different industries for years. With 2 watts of power and 4 channels, the RMU2040 operates on 89 exclusive frequencies and is FCC Narrowband ready. This rugged radio has definitely served its purpose, however, many are choosing to upgrade to systems, which offer both analog and/or digital technology.

MOTOROLA CP100D

The Motorola CP100D two-way radio is slightly more different than the RMU two-way radios in that it is smaller in size.
