Vertex made this change to 4 connectors (instead of the old style which has 3) to allow users with other Vertex radios to all utilize one charger.

    Best VX231 Battery (Price, Quality and Talk Time)

    This is by far the best band for buck VX231 battery. This is the new style UNI battery with the highest capacity, lithium-ion and you get the most talk time. I've compared to the other versions and this is the best. Price of the low capacity battery too which is awesome!
