Wi-Fi Operation (TWD50 Only)

The TWD50 can operate using a compatible Wi-Fi connection without requiring annual network access.

If Wi-Fi is available, the radio connects similarly to a smartphone — select the network, enter the password, and you are ready to communicate.

• Standard password authentication

No additional service is required when operating over Wi-Fi.

The radio must remain within the coverage area of the Wi-Fi network to stay connected. Once connected, it can communicate with other Two Way Direct radios anywhere they are connected.
