Got in the radio and dropped it in the pool at our hotel to test it. Still worked after dropping in the pool. Make sure you have the dust cover on the accessory jack though or it won't be waterproof. This is a great radio! Getting more for our hotel soon.

I was using Motorola radios and switched to this Vertex radio because it was a lot less expensive. I was very impressed with the durability and the price was so low I was able to save a lot. It's even waterproof. Great buy. Great service too!
