We understand the health of your employees is the top priority during these times. We have listed the top three things you can do for your employees to help stop the spread of germs through radios during this time.
1. Disinfect Your Radios and Radio Accessories
We recommend disinfecting each radio after each shift. Make sure to wring out the disinfectant wipe and ensure no liquid penetrates the inside of the radio. Watch this short video for further instructions on cleaning each radio and earpiece.
2. Use Silicone Cases For Your Radios
Our silicone cases for two-way radios that are durable, waterproof, and naturally resistant to bacteria, making it hygienically sound for your team all-year-round. These cases are currently available for most popular radio models. Make sure each radio is disinfected before slipping this case on. Watch the short video below to learn more about these cases.
3. Limit The Number of Users For Each Radio Earpiece
To disinfect and clean radio earpieces, use a disinfectant wipe. Please note, this will not work for standard in-ear earpieces such as the 2 Wire Surveillance Kit. If you have these 2 Wire earpieces, we recommend issuing each employee their own acoustic tube.
If your team is sharing earpieces like G-hooks and D-Shells, we recommend liming the number of users per earpiece, and that each radio and earpiece are disinfected after each use.
We highly recommend each person on your team get their own earpiece. Our team understands that budgets affect this decision, that is why we are offering specials on radio earpieces that we have in stock. Contact us today for these specials.
